The 2010 Porsche Cayman is a two-door two-passenger sports coupe that offers outstanding power, fresh interiors, and impressive design. Available in two trims: Base and the sportier S, the Porsche Cayman is largely unchanged for 2010.

Powertrain And Performance

The 2010 Porsche Cayman is motivated by two engine types - a 245-horsepower 2.7-liter flat six-cylinder on the Base model paired with a five-speed manual or an optional automatic transmission and a 295-horsepower 3.4-liter on the S trim version teamed with a standard six-speed manual or the available automatic transmission. Estimated fuel economy of the Porsche Cayman Base is 20/29 mpg (city/highway) and that of the Cayman S is 18/26 mpg (city/highway). The 2010 Cayman Base sprints to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds, while the Cayman S accelerates to the 60 mph mark in just 5 seconds.

Build And Styling

The 2010 Porsche Cayman is an eye-catcher with its contemporary design elements that include seductively shaped rear wheel arches and a wide rear track with a curvaceous arching roofline and flawlessly cut doors. Its bi-plane spoiler automatically extends at speeds above 75 mph. The 2010 Porsche Cayman is loaded with various standard features such as heated and electrically adjustable outside mirrors; 17-inch Cayman alloy wheels; active brake differential; automatic power windows with tip up/down; on-board computer with continuous indication of mileage, time, and speed; instrument dials; front-end with prominent air intakes and lower spoiler edge; automatically deployed rear spoiler; and a digital AM/FM radio with CD player. The 2010 Porsche Cayman S adds more amenities such as larger brakes; metallic-trimmed instrument dials; 18-inch wheels; and nine-speaker audio system.
