The Porsche Panamera from Napleton Westmont Porsche is an executive luxury sedan that is now celebrating its tenth year of success. But if you think the Panamera has been stagnant since its introduction a decade ago, it's clear you haven't been paying attention.
The Porsche Panamera is the perfect combination of performance, luxury, elegance and agility all in one handsome package. Let the experts at Westmont Porsche help you find your Panamera today.
How Does The Porsche Panamera Measure Up?
Think of the Porsche Panamera as a total Utility player. Twenty-one different versions are derived from three different body styles with six different means of motivation. And don't get us started with the options. While Henry Ford was rumored to say you could get your car in any color as long as it was black, you can commission Porsche to dye the leather hides inside your Panamera in any color, period.
The Panamera is available in a Standard version four-door body style, which bears a distinct family resemblance to the two-door Porsche 911. Next is an Executive (extended-wheelbase) version and a Sport Turismo version that resembles a shooting brake or station wagon. Each has a distinct personality, but there is no mistaking their pedigree once you get behind the wheel. Take your pick as there is a variation for nearly every buyer.
When it comes to power, there are many types and variables to choose from. The power for the Panamera and Panamera 4 derives from a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 making 330 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. Powering the Panamera 4S is the 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 440 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. A 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 powers the Panamera GTS, while an uprated version of the same engine cranks 550 horsepower and 567 lb-ft of torque for the Panamera Turbo.
Finally, there are the hybrids. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid gets motivated by the 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 + electric motor producing 457 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. In contrast, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid gets its oomph from a 680 horsepower / 626 lb-ft of torque 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 + electric motor.
Rear-wheel-drive is the normal configuration for the Panamera, but some models can be ordered in AWD. All versions use the eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Porsche Panamera Interior
Well-appointed, the Porsche Panamera reflects the values that have made the brand a classic amongst enthusiasts Worldwide. As with many other Porsche models, the tachometer holds sway in the center of the instrument panel. Additional gauges flank on either side but provide all the information a driver could want, even a driver of this luxury four-door sedan. The center console features controls for nearly all vehicle functions and is headed off by a large infotainment touch screen up above.
Seating is supportive, with bolsters and adjustments for nearly every contour. If you can't find a comfortable position here, you are just not trying hard enough. We recommend the Panamera Sport Turismo with its shooting brake profile and extended roofline for the most in additional headroom.
Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless entry and ignition, active suspension, navigation, eight-way adjustable heated seats and a 10-speaker / 150-watt audio system with satellite radio.
Optional kit includes available lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, rear-wheel steering, head-up display and a 12-speaker/821-watt Burmester premium audio system. And this list is just for starters. Our Westmont Porsche experts can help you personalize your Panamera ever further.
Porsche Panamera Exterior Design
Now into its second-generation, the new Porsche Panamera continues the family resemblance that includes the wide under-bumper intakes to the tear-drop LED lighting and the trademark profile of the classic 911 sports car.ÂThe Executive Panamera includes all of the above, with six inches of added wheelbase for interior comfort in the second row. But this being a Porsche, begs the question, why would you want to sit in back in the first place?
Finally, there is the Panamera Sports Turismo. With enough space for several golf bags, it's the perfect way to hit the links.Â
