Porsche Classic Partners

What Is Porsche Classic?

Porsche Classic is a division of Porsche AG that works to preserve and restores classic Porsche vehicles. There are 16 officially qualified Porsche Classic Centers in the United States. Napleton Westmont Porsche is proud to be one of these 16 Porsche Classic Partners in the US, and the only in the entire Midwest region.

What qualifies as a Porsche Classic Car?

Porsche Classic refers to historic Porsche vehicles that have not been produced in standard production for at least 10 years.

  • More than 70% of all Porsche vehicles ever built are still on the road and therefore play a defining role in shaping the fascination of the brand.
  • Porsche Classic is highly committed to prolonging the service life of your classic Porsche.
  • At your Porsche Classic Partner, you will find experts who combine service and advice with the relevant expertise and enthusiasm.
  • Porsche Classic also sets visual standards: a Classic Corner in the showroom of the Porsche Classic Partner tells you at first glance that you and your classic car are at the right address.
  • Porsche Classic Partners organize special Classic Events and keep their customers up-to-date on everything to do with Porsche Classic, such as new part editions, for example.

Porsche Classic Defining Features

There are so many unique, defining characteristics of what makes a Porsche Classic vehicle. Perhaps none are more iconic than the signature five-spoke symmetry. This legendary look was designed in the early 1960s and was first used on the 1967 911S. The Fuchs five-spoke wheel was the first forged aluminum, lightweight wheel used on production vehicles. The gain meant less unsprung weight with greater strength and improved performance. Fuchs wheels also had a symmetry with a lasting style accent on 70s and 80s era Porsche vehicles, still available to you today.
